Cookie Policy

This page describes the cookies and similar technologies (local storage) used by Grimio, their purpose, and how to manage your choices.

1. Essential cookies (no consent required)

These cookies are strictly necessary for the service to work and cannot be disabled:

• Authentication: Supabase session cookies keeping you signed in to your account (duration: the session, renewed automatically).
• Interface preferences: chosen language, sidebar state (duration: up to 12 months).
• Consent choice: remembering your answer to the cookie banner (local storage, until revoked).

2. Analytics (with consent)

With your agreement, we use PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to understand how the service is used and improve it. These cookies are only set after you accept in the consent banner. Data is kept for a maximum of 13 months and is never shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Session recording (with consent)

With your agreement, we use Sentry Session Replay to replay how a session unfolded and reproduce a reported bug. Around 10% of sessions are recorded, and only if you enabled this option in the consent banner.

Recording runs with all text masked and all images blocked: what you type is not captured. You can turn this off at any time via the « Cookies » link in the footer, which immediately stops any recording in progress.

Sentry's error detection works without any session recording and stays enabled: it falls under our legitimate interest in keeping the service running.

4. Managing your choices

You can at any time:

• reject everything through the banner's "Reject all" button, presented at the same level as "Accept all";
• choose purpose by purpose through "Customise": audience measurement and session recording are allowed separately;
• change your mind at any time through the « Cookies » link in the footer, which reopens the banner on your current settings;
